The category of Radiologic Technology is for use by the Radiologic Technology Board of Examiners in the renewal of Limited Radiographers, Radiologic Technologists, Nuclear Medicine Trainees, and Temporary Radiologic Technologists not Dental Radiographers.
Staff is extremely busy during renewal periods so you are encouraged to perform a Licensee Search to check the status of your license.
If your renewal paperwork (Renewal
Form, Fee, & CE log) has been received at the Staff Office, postmarked by
December 31st of the year, you are still authorized to
practice. If, however, you have not
mailed your renewal paperwork, postmarked by December 31st, you
cannot legally practice after that date. If you have a status of AY
your license has been placed under Title 5 and you can continue to practice
while waiting for the Board to act on your renewal. Contact the staff
office for further information concerning Title 5.

NOTICE: PRESCRIPTION MONITORING PROGRAM REGISTRATION
ALL LICENSED PRESCRIBERS MUST REGISTER BY 03/01/14
Notice: As of January 1, 2014, it has been determined that participation levels among Allopathic Physicians, Osteopathic Physicians, Dentists, Physician Assistants, Podiatrists, and Advanced Practice Registered Nurses who are licensed to prescribe scheduled medications did not meet statuary requirements that 90% of practitioners be enrolled with the Prescription Monitoring Program (PMP). Therefore, all licensed prescribers are required to register by March 1, 2014. To register, please go to the Prescription Monitoring Program website at: http://www.maine.gov/pmp. Download, complete and sign the registration form for prescribers and dispensers. Mail the original form to the address located on the form. More information is available for prescribers on the PMP website on the 'For Prescribers' page.
