IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING STATE GOVERNMENT CLOSURE

The Maine Board of Dental Examiners will be closed on Friday, August 6, 2010 as required by the 2010-2011 Biennial State Budget, Public Law 2009, Chap. 213, Part SSS.  This is the second of 10 closure days between July 1, 2010 and June 30, 2011; and the twelfth of twenty between July 1, 2009 and June 30, 2011 as required by the 2010-2011 State Budget.   For a complete list of shut down days visit our Announcements page.

 

CHAPTER 21: USE OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES FOR THE TREATMENT OF PAIN

 

The Chapter 21 joint rule with the Board of Dental Examiners, the Board of Licensure in Medicine, the Board of Nursing, the Board of Osteopathic Licensure, and the Board of Podiatric Medicine to ensure the adequate relief of pain to the citizens of Maine has been filed with the Secretary of State’s office.  The effective date of this rule is June 13, 2010.
